The 11.5m Aluminum Work Barge is built around one requirement: a large, clear, load-bearing deck that can be worked from. The hull is welded aluminium, the deck is open with flush hatches, and the boxed cabin houses the machinery space with direct access from the deck. At 0.3m draft it can work close to quay walls, slipways and shallow inner harbours where deeper craft cannot follow.
With a 3.5m beam and 11.5m length overall, the platform stays trailerable and easy to handle in confined basins, while the 6-person crew rating and 400L fuel tank support a full working day away from base.
Shallow 0.3m draft — works alongside quay walls and in inner harbours where deeper vessels cannot reach.
Flat, open working deck — flush hatches and clear deck edges give an unobstructed working area for equipment and materials.
Welded aluminium construction — light displacement with no routine painting regime required for the structure itself.
6-person crew rating — enough deck hands for maintenance, transfer and support duties without a separate tender.
400L fuel capacity — a full working day of operation between refuelling stops.
Direct machinery access — the deck-level engine hatch opens onto the machinery space for routine service without lifting the deck.

Harbour and marina maintenance — carrying tools, barriers, buoys and dredging support equipment to the worksite.
Cargo and equipment transfer — moving stores, spares and gear between quay, moorings and vessels at anchor.
Floating work platform — a stable base for inspection, repair and diving-support tasks close to structures.
Can it work in very shallow water?
Yes — the 0.3m draft is the design figure for the bare hull; actual working draft depends on load and the equipment fitted. It is intended for sheltered and inner-harbour work rather than open-sea passage.
Can the deck layout be adapted to our operation?
Yes. Deck fittings, surface treatment and equipment mounting points are agreed at contract stage, so the working deck is arranged around your task rather than adapted afterwards.
